EnCompass Business Adventures include programs designed around kayaking, caving, orienteering, and everything in between. Whether you’re looking for two weeks in the Colorado Rockies, a weekend on the Appalachian trail, a day paddling the Back Bay or three hours exploring Norfolk, we can make it happen. Each of our programs is designed to provide an experience that will enhance workplace communication, bring out individual strengths, and develop group problem-solving skills both on and off the job.

Challenge Courses & Orienteering

Challenge courses and orienteering provide a new direction in training by combining two powerful program models.

Challenge courses do just what the name implies; they challenge individuals and groups in exercises designed to increase communication, work on problem solving, and develop leadership skills. Hands-on learning ensures that teams carry the experience back into the workplace, where their new skills benefit the company as a whole.

Orienteering is the sport of navigation, in which teams learn to navigate using a map and compass. It’s a great platform for hands-on training of leaders and groups. Teams work to balance many concerns during a course in order to achieve the best outcome—a skill that becomes invaluable back in the workplace, where workers are required to multi-task and work together to achieve the best results for your company.

Metr-O

Our Metr-O program is urban orienteering—all the benefits of orienteering, without traveling to the wilderness. Whether you want to take a group to another city, or rediscover the wonders of your own hometown, this is the program for you. Orienteering challenges are fused with team-building exercises to create a fun, challenging game guaranteed to become the most memorable learning experience your team has ever had.

We continue to craft adventures that highlight the excitement of traveling to wild places and sharing wonderful adventures with friends, new and old.
